Wanda Jean Myers
PRINCETON - Wanda Jean Myers, 77, of Fawn Lane, Princeton, died Monday, January 13, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born September 9, 1942, in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene Dunagan Myers.
Wanda was a retired nurse with more then 40 years of service having worked in Roanoke and Princeton.
Wanda was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Bluefield where she was very active in Children's Sunday School, served in the Food Pantry, the Episcopal Diocesan Health Ministries Committee, attended many Diocesan Conventions, served on the Vestry Committee, member of the Daughters of the King, served on the Diocesan Council and was President of the New Southern Deanery of the Diocese.
Left to cherish her memory are her special cousin, Ron Carver; Host of other cousins also survive.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Wanda Jean Myers will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Christ Episcopal Church with Father Chad Slater officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Columbarium.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at the church. The family has honored Wanda's request that she be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Wanda's memory to: The Food Pantry, c/o Christ Episcopal Church, 200 Duhring Street, Bluefield, WV 24701.
