Victor Joel "J.D." Trinidad Obituary

Victor Joel "J.D." Trinidad, 43, of Quail Valley in Princeton, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born July 28, 1970, in the Philippines, he was the son of Dr. Victor Jose V. Trinidad, MD, and Dr. Cristina M. LeCaros-Trinidad, MD of Princeton. A true renaissance man, Joel was an artist, a writer an avid reader; he played piano and guitar, cooked gourmet meals, worked best with his hands and became a self-taught master of fine carpentry. He loved a good story, he enjoyed life, especially when around the people he loved dearly. He loved his little sisters Vivian and Christine. He thought the world of them and was so very proud of them! But just like a big brother, he worried about them. If you met Joel you loved him instantly and he loved you back unconditionally. He was happiest helping others. He wouldn't hesitate to drop everything to get to wherever you were to do it. He is survived by his parents Drs. Victor Trinidad and Cristina Lecaros-Trinidad of Princeton, WV, his sisters, Vivian Trinidad Diamond of Potomac, MD and Christine Trinidad Bryant of Spingfield, IL, his nephews Gabriel Diamond, Liam and Samuel Bryant, his brothers-in-law, Seth Diamond and William Bryant; his beloved dog Tucker and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who traveled from near and far to show their respects. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield with Father Elipidio M. Geneta as Celebrant. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, June 1, 2014, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 5:30 P.M.
