Vickie Duggan Obituary
Vickie Lynn Duggan, 69, of Bluefield, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born February 19, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Benfield and Mavis Kathleen Clark Benfield.
Vickie was a loving person with a very generous and giving spirit. She was quick to respond to people in need and would give you the shirt from her back. She attended secretarial school. She retired from Lowes in Princeton after 25 years and last worked for Mountaineer Lifelines Bingo for 16 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Annabelle Yoder; and three brothers, Ronnie Benfield, Timmy Benfield, and Mark Benfield.
Those left to cherish her memory are fiancé, John Lowe of Bluefield; two sons, Gary Scott, Jr, and Heath Scott, both of Bluefield; two brothers, Jackie Benfield of Bluefield, and Larry Benfield of Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Dana Hambrick officiating. Entombment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made in Vickie's honor to the Mercer County Animal Shelter or a church of your choice.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2024 from noon until service hour at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
