A memorial service for Vesta Marie Larkin, who passed away on August 19, 2020, will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3 PM from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV with Pastors Diane Hall and Chuck Hammond officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
In memory of Vesta, donations may be made to the McDowell County Humane Society (Box 714, Welch, WV 24801) or to the research of Dr. Harry Erba (Duke University) who was Vesta's primary physician and is a leading researcher in the field of blood cancer disorders.
