BLAND, Va. — Ruth Rose Billips, of Bland, Virginia, passed away July 26, 2016. She was born August 20th , 1932 in Pageton, West Virginia to the late Gilbert and Annie Mitchem Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Earl Billips.
She is survived by her devoted son, Dale Billips, daughters, Carol and German Lizarralde, Lisby and Dave Hall, Debbie Fleenor, grandsons, James Faulkner, and Brandon Faulkner, two great-grandchildren, brothers, Dennis and Becky Rose, Roger and Willie Rose, sisters, Doris and Howard Garbo, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Highland Bland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Danny Shortridge officiating followed by a graveside committal service to be held 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the service.
