Garner, NC - Rosie Lee Sizemore, 97, of Garner, NC, passed Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Born May 11,1928, in Algoma, WV, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Falcomata and Mossie Shell. Rosie was a member of the Burke Baptist Church. Rosie lived her life in the Elkridge and Northfork areas of West Virginia. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sizemore, daughter, Darlene Sizemore, and half-brother, Walter Lee McReynolds.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Sizemore and wife Stephanie of South Charleston, WV; daughter, Anna Marie Mahjoub and husband Mohammed of Garner, NC; and grandsons, Michael Mahjoub and wife Cecilia of Mount Holly, NC, Ryan Mahjoub and wife Emily of Garner, NC, Stephen Sizemore and Peyton Sizemore, both of South Charleston, WV; granddaughter, Samantha Campbell of Lexington, KY; and great granddaughter, Alice Mahjoub of Garner, NC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Yoeul Altizer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
