Ronnie Drew Adkins, 61, of Princeton formerly of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home following a short illness.

Born February 13, 1957 at Hinton he was a son of Hallie Mae Adkins of Hinton and the late Clifford George Adkins.

Ronnie was a carpenter, a mechanic and did small engine repairs. He loved listening to country music, going to yard sales and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Ronnie was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosie Adkins, Joyce Snow and Connie Adkins and three brothers, Russell Adkins, Larry Adkins and Joey Adkins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Kay Adkins at home; seven children, Amy Lemon of Charleston, Ronnie Lemon and companion Jerika of Princeton, Stephanie Lemon of Vermont, Melissa Lemon of Princeton, Jackie Adkins of Hinton, Debbie Davis and husband Jason of Princeton and Steven Boone and wife Katrina of Princeton; twenty one grandchildren; one great grandchild; special grandchildren, Logan Davis, Makayla and Julia Boone; siblings, George Adkins and wife Audrey of Pipestem, Roger Adkins of Hinton, Betty Burgess of Hinton, Billy Adkins and companion Drema of Hinton and Bonnie Ward of Hinton; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Keith Burgess and best friend, Kenny Goff.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 13, 2018 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Sears Cemetery at Tug Creek.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral parlors.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
