Ronald Dare Stephens Obituary
Ronald Dare Stephens, 95 of Bluefield, VA and formerly of Portsmouth, VA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 in Roanoke, VA. Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late Delbert Neale Stephens and Rowena Mae Sprinkle Stephens. He moved to Portsmouth, VA with his family as a young teen and returned to Bluefield in 2021. He served in the United States Army and was a paratrooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ashley Stephens; an infant son: Samuel Omar Stephens; a sister: Jean Stephens Edwards.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
His body was laid to rest beside his wife in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, VA.
