North Tazewell - Ronald Jack McCall, age 78, of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home, surrounded by loving family.

Born August 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert Jack McCall and Cora Chippie McCall.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Connie Necessary McCall and their four children: Melissa Burton and husband Jeff, Timothy McCall and wife Lisa, Johnathan McCall and wife Vicky, and Justin McCall and wife Jessika; grandchildren, Hunter McCall, Reese McCall and Rhett McCall. Ron is also survived by his sister, Connie Cyphers and husband Jerry; his niece Susanna Cyphers Shuey and husband Lance; and his great-nephews, Anson, Evan, and Ethan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2025, at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, with Pastor Don Elswick officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. His sons, Timothy, Johnathan, and Justin, as well as his grandson, Hunter, son-in-law, Jeffery Burton, and nephew, Brad Necessary will serve as pallbearers, with Mike Ford and Reggie Holbrook as honorary bearers.

The family extends a special thank you to Laura Christian, Brandon Christian, and Kimberly Hankins who helped care for their dear husband and dad.
