Princeton - Ronald Eugene (Ronnie) Blankenship, 74 of Princeton, WV, born November 8, 1950, in Princeton, WV, went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2025, while surrounded by his loved ones. He was a loving father and devoted his time and talents to his children including coaching his son's soccer team, being undefeated for several years. Although, some years had passed he still considered all his players his kids. After retiring from PCH in 2004 after 30 plus years of service, Ronnie dedicated his time to his grandchildren, ensuring they knew they were loved and how to shoot and hunt. Ronnie was not a stranger at his grandsons' baseball games, looked forward to hunting trips with his son and grandsons, and openly doted on his granddaughter. Ronnie was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church and would freely share his love and belief in Christ, his Lord and Savior. Ronnie will forever be remembered for his love of family, hunting, and watching golf and racing.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Bevadell Blankenship, and his brother, Chuck Blankenship. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Charlie (Vickie) Blankenship of Princeton, WV; and his daughter, Kelli (Matt) Brooks of Princeton, WV; six grandchildren - Tiffany (Tommy), Tyler, Wayne (Jessica), Aaron, Ethan, and Brady; five great-grandchildren - Paytenn, Charleigh, Maisyn, Phoenix, and Sophia; his sister, Connie Dobbins of Princeton, WV; his uncle, Norman (Linda) Wall of Stanley, NC; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Steve Pritchett of Princeton, WV. All of whom he loved wholeheartedly.
