Charleston, SC - Robert was born in Greenville, SC to the late Robert and Beth Perry and the grandson of Jess and Virginia Meader Ward of Bluefield, West Virginia.

He attended McCallie school in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from Greenville High and St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, North Carolina.

He was a realtor, contractor and developer in the Greenville and Easley area where He developed the Perry family farm into what is now known as Heathwood. He was most proud of the many lovely homes he built there.

He later moved to Bluefield, West Virginia, where he was active in the Rotary Club and the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his former wife, Sallie Perry Myers, two sons Ward Bowen Perry, and Robert Lee Perry IV (Rab) and his three grandchildren, Catherine Corte Perry, Ward Bowen Perry Jr. (Bowen) and Olivia Reese Perry (Liv).

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Nov. 22, 2025, at Georges Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 1991 Saluda Dam Rd. Easley, SC.
