Randy Anthony
Randy Anthony "Duck" Dishner, 63, of Princeton died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born December 28, 1956 in Bluefield, WV he was the son of the late Reverend A.R. "Jill" and Norma Delp Dishner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Dishner; stepdaughter, Denise Sparks; and niece, Mercy Ann Dickerson.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Denise Snow Dishner of Princeton; grandchildren, Anaston Dishner and Creston Dishner; brother, Mark Dishner and wife Robin of Burlington, NC and their children, Tyler, Lindsey, and Lexie; sister, Tina White of Rock, WV and her children, Josh, Justin and Jennifer.
Randy was a 1975 graduate of Matoaka High School. He formerly worked as Machinist for Industrial Plating and Machine in Bluefield and Bluestone Machine in Princeton. Randy attended Fairview Christian Church in Princeton. He was a soft-spoken man who always had time for others and the patience of Job. He was very health conscious and loved teaching others about nutrition and healthy lifestyles. He was a man of God treating all people with love and respect, he was never judgmental. You knew he was a Christian by the way he lived. He was an active member of the Princeton Health and Fitness Center, and he loved Shag and Ballroom dancing.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Fairview Christian Church in Princeton with Reverend Larry Dyer and Pastor Justin White officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 PM until the service hour on Wednesday.
In keeping with Randy's wishes he will be cremated following the service.
