Mrs. Ramona Denise Scott Hale, age, 65, of Coalwood, WV, departed this life on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Roanoke Memorial Carilion Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia, after a short illness.

She was born on June 7, 1959, in Welch, WV and the only child of William Tommy and Jessie Mae Scott.

Ramona spent a brief time in New York City and had lived the greater part of her life in Coalwood.

She attended both Coalwood Elementary and Junior High School and graduated from Big Creek High School in War, WV.

Ramona married Edward E. Hale Sr., also of Coalwood and into this loving union, four beautiful children were born: Edward E. Hale Jr., (deceased), Scotty

L. Hale, Michelle L. Hale (Robert McCoy), and Achia D. Hale, all of Coalwood; seven granddaughters: Sasha (Stephen Addair), Monae Hale (Logan Mounts), Shaevon Boyd (Austin Proffitt), Amya Lee, Ava DiLeonardi, Niyla Hale, and Alexis Hale (deceased); one grand-

son, Jordan Jones (Priscilla Mullins); two great-grandsons, Ayden Mounts and Samuel Addair; her cousin, who was

like a sister, Rhonda (Pat) Scott

Logan; three additional cousins:

Castella Dickerson, Kawana Richardson and Arnetta Taylor; a host of other,loving family memories, which include;

her devoted, family-in-love, the Hale family.

A Memorial Service celebrating

Ramona's life will be held at 12:00 noon, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Restlawn Mausoleum Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, WV, with her brother-in-law, Pastor Hiawatha Spraggins officiating.
