BLUEFIELD - Patricia "Pat" Cundiff Miller of Bluefield, West Virginia, passed from this life on February 11, 2017, to be with her savior and family. At the time of her passing, Pat was a resident at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born on December 8, 1944 to the late David Benton and Bertha Walters Cundiff. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Anderson; brother, Ralph Cundiff; niece, Denise Anderson; and nephew, Chris Cundiff.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Miller, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware, and Michael Miller and his wife, Merry Ann of Gainesville, Virginia; her sister, Frances Spraker; and the loves of their Nana's life, her three granddaughters, Sofia, Haley and Brianna.

Pat graduated from Bluefield High School, class of '62, and attended McLain's Business College. She retired as Inside Sales Director at Holiday Inn after having worked at DMG, the law firms of Mac Hatfield and Kenny Chittum and Freedom Motor Sports. Pat was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years and also belonged to several service organizations, most notably, Quota International where she served as the Governor of First District. She was passionate about giving back to her community as a way to pay tribute to the many blessings she had received. A lifelong resident of Bluefield, she enjoyed entertaining, long talks with her many friends and traveling overseas with her granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in her memory to Bowers Hospice House or your local church.

The family will host a memorial celebration to commiserate and honor her life on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her house located at 2325 Rose Street in Bluefield. Family and friends may visit anytime between 12 and 4 p.m.
