Millie Hall Durham Moody
Millie Hall Durham Moody, 82, of Springville, VA left this life on Friday, November 29th, 2019 to receive her wings in her eternal life with Jesus. She was born in Thompson Valley, VA and was the daughter of the late Arthur Hall and Mollie Medley Hall. Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed owner of the former Pet's & Things and worked as a caregiver. She attended church at the Tazewell Family Worship Center in Tazewell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Kenneth "Corky" Durham and her second husband, Donald Moody; sons Dennis Durham and Mark Durham; sisters Shirley Hall, Linda McGuire, Oma Spradlin, and Pansy Wright; and one brother, Alvin Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gullion (Jack) of Bluefield, VA; two sons, Timothy Durham (Sally) of Kernersville, NC; and Frank "Kenny" Durham (Frances) of Bluefield, VA; two brothers; Buford Hall and Jerry Hall of Springville, VA; Grandchildren, Justin Gullion, Travis Gullion, Angel Ray, Trish Durham, and Jeremy Durham, and brother-in-law, Jimmy McGuire. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, VA with Pastors Jerry Whiteheart and Donna Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Family members Travis Gullion, Justin Gullion, Alex Durham, Mike Spradlin, and Rusty Spradlin; and friend Donnie Totton, will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the Family Sunday, December 1, at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
