Bluefield - On September 29, 2025, Mildred Muncy Hartsock, at the age of 96, entered eternal life which had

been the motivating factor of her entire life.

Millie, as she was known to her friends and family, was born September 4, 1929 in Iaeger, West

Virginia, to Squire Washington Muncy and Gladys Gertrude Lockhart Muncy and spent her

childhood in the coalfields of West Virginia.

She was wed to Lewis Conley Hartsock in 1951 with which she enjoyed 56 years of married

life. In 1957 they welcomed their daughter Robbi Lynn Hartsock.

Millie was predeceased by her husband, parents, one brother, Kenneth Eugene Muncy, and

one sister, Claris Marie Sturges and numerous in-laws.

She is survived by her daughter Robbi Lynn Hartsock, sister-in-law, Patricia Muncy and many

nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Dudley Memorial Mortuary.

Services will be at the First

United Methodist Church in Bluefield Virginia on Saturday, October 4. The family will be

available to greet friends at 1 pm with church services following at 2 pm. The family will

observe a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church,

200 South College Avenue, Bluefield Virginia 24605.
