Mary Alice Houston Stefancic
PRINCETON - Mary Alice Houston Stefancic, 93, of Miracle Road, Princeton, died peacefully Sunday morning, October 6, 2019 at Princeton Health Care with family at her side.
Born September 10, 1926 at Devils Fork, she was the daughter of the late T. J. Houston & Ethel Hamby Houston.
Mrs. Stefancic was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Five siblings, Jack, Willie, Joe and Paul Houston and Nellie Halsey along with the family's four-legged companion Hawk.
Those left to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Racine Stefancic; Three grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Dr. Steven Stefancic and wife Sarah, Andy and Ali Stefancic; Seven siblings, Charlotte Mitchem (Ray), Linda Hutton (E.H.), Frankie Clay (Larry), Connie McKinney, Shirley Beechum (Grover), Jim Houston, and Cletus Houston; Several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mary Alice Stefancic will be held 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with her grandson Dr. Steven Stefancic delivering the eulogy. Inurnment will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from Noon until the service hour.
