Martha Emogene "Bobbie" Deeds, 89, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Springfield Center following a long illness.

Born February 3, 1930 at Spanishburg, she was a daughter of the late Felix B. and Vada P. Jackson Repass.

Martha was a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church. She was an assembly line worker for several businesses. Martha enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, being outdoors and attending church functions. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Deeds Jr.; two sisters, Velma Pedneau and Christine Allen and two brothers, Harry Dillow and Junior Repass.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Sandra Macdonald and husband Rick of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, David M. Hill and wife Sharon of Bristol, VA and Frank Wheby and wife Sarah of Hinton; two stepdaughters, Ann Jacobs of Venice, FL and Cathy Richmond and husband Johnnie of Talcott; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and her beloved schnauzer, Tasha.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlors.

The family would like to extend special thanks to staff at the Springfield Center for the love and care that was given to Martha.
