Lesage - Lonnie Wayne Walker, 63, of Lesage, WV, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Born on March 3, 1962, in Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse James Walker and Christine Cosby England Walker.

Lonnie spent many years working as a dedicated truck driver. He will be remembered for his hard work, sense of humor, and deep love for his family. He enjoyed writing songs, playing guitar, singing and sitting on his front porch with his faithful furry friend Thor.

He is survived by his three daughters: Deanna Whitley (Phillip), Cassie Dalton (Justin), and Brittney Tuell; two sisters, Brenda Parrott (Donald) of Indiana and Jeanne Belcher of Brenton, WV; and two brothers, Rick Walker of Glen Morgan, WV, and Rocky Walker (Mary) of Indiana. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Michael Dalton of Rocky Mount, VA.

Lonnie was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Charlie Westfall (Kelsey), Tina Westfall, Montana Black (Matthew), Meghan Whitley, Cody Whitley, Andrew Whitley, and Carson Dalton; and great-grandfather to Jocie and Hadley Simpson.

In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Jean Walker; brother, Ronnie Walker; sister, Lula Dalton; brother-in-law, Glenn Belcher; and sister-in-law, Belinda Walker.
