Leslie Y. Williams Jr., 70, of Abbs Valley, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 25, 2022. After several years of declining health, Leslie passed peacefully with his beloved wife of 48 years Regina by his side. He was the son of the late Leslie Y. Williams Sr. and Gladys Marrs Williams.

Leslie was born June 14, 1951. He was a lifelong resident of Abbs Valley. Leslie graduated in 1970 from Pocahontas High School. Leslie married the love of his life Regina on July 30, 1973. Leslie was a devoted family man and had very strong work ethics. He worked at Bishop Mines as an electrician for many years and also owned Les' Auto Service.

Leslie was preceded in death by his father Leslie Y. Williams Sr., his daughter Crissy Lynn Williams, his infant brother Ronald Jerry Williams, and his youngest brother Christopher Troy Williams.

Leslie is survived by his mother Gladys Williams, his wife Regina Kay Williams, son Keith Edward Williams, daughter Heather Elaine Sparks, son-in-law Ted Matthew Sparks, grandson Austin Matthew Sparks and granddaughters, Kaylynn Ann Sparks and Amanda Lynn Williams. Brothers, John Daniel (Danny) Williams, Anthony Wayne (Tony) Williams and wife Ellen and sister, Deborah Carol (Debbie) Broyles. Several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

A special thanks to the people at Legacy Hospice and Palliative Care Interim Health Care and nurses and doctors for their loving care and support during his final days.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Rodriguez Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Boone officiating. Visitation is from 12- 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Interment will be at Grandview Memory Gardens.
