Laura Elizabeth Brown, 35, of Iaeger, WV, passed away suddenly Monday, November 1, 2021.

Liz was born May 12, 1986, in Bluefield, WV the daughter of Allen and Angie Neal Auvil. She was a graduate of Iaeger High School and Concord University and was the band director at River View High School.

Liz was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roland and Laura Neal and her paternal grandparents, Estel and Joan Auvil.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Brown of the home; two sons, Thomas and Jacob Brown both of the home; and her parents, Allen and Angie Auvil also of the home. Numerous additional family and friends and colleagues and students who loved her.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 11 o'clock with Reverend Randall Dority and Youth Pastor Paul Dick officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Oakvale, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family Saturday evening, November 6, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.
