June Lambert, 93, of Roderfield, WV passed away early Saturday morning July 3, 2021 at The McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation in Gary, WV. Born June 6, 1928 in Iaeger, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ozie and Lena Mullins Collins. She was raised by Deedy & Dennie Mullins.

June was a lifelong resident of McDowell County who always cared for her community; she was a former member of the Roderfield Methodist Church, as well as membership of the former Stewart Street First Church of God, Welch, WV. Additionally, she also attended Roderfield Christian Church, Roderfield, WV.

June was well regarded as "always a Lady", formerly active in the Republican Executive Committee, seemingly always seen outside of her residence caring for her yard. Following the passing of her devoted husband Raymond Lambert, her beloved pets Rusty & Shadow were her loving companions.

She was preceded in passing by her parents and husband, as well as an Infant brother and her late sister, Lillian Bland.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12 Noon from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV with Pastor Diane Hall officiating; burial will follow at Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield, WV. Friends may call Wednesday, July 7, 2021 one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
