Growing up in Carswell, the Delgrandes were Family.
There are so many special memories and traditions we shared that still are a part of life, today. Julia was my mother, Violet Moore-Burkett's, name sake; both were sweet, caring individuals. As a youngster, Julia was the "entertainer" and the youngest of 6 kids, between the two families, at that time. (Phillip was a late arrival!) I can still envision her performing a song & dance routine (complete with her make-shift cane), as she belted out her rendition of Stephen Foster's "De Camp Town Races". So cute! She will be missed but we each have our special memories to keep her close. My thoughts and prayers are with Jay, Carmella, Phil
...lip and all the other family members and friends. God's blessings....Read more

Jay i just heard about your wife Julia. I am so sorry. The little things that you remember, the quiet moments, smiles and laughter. In time these memories will push their way through the pain, like spring flowers through the frozen ground. Yes, your loss will always hurt, but in between there will be happiness again. With Deepest Sympathy for your loss. Prayers for you during this time. Sherry Belcher

My condolences to the Family of Julie and Jay. I have been away for many years but attended school with Carmella, very good friends with Mike and Dominick and worked on cars and built engines for vehicles for Jay’s dad John. You lose contact with people and very sad when you hear of them passing May God Bless the Family and Friends and Comfort you in this time of sorrow. Will keep you all in our Prayers.
