John Ed Hodge, son of the late Elias and Lucy Gravely Hodge, died at age 97 on June 26, 2018 in Welch.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, brothers: Charles David Hodge, Rev. U.G. Hodge and James Stafford Hodge and sisters: Frankie Moore and Maureen Turner.
He is survived by sisters: Bernice Hairston, Nancy H. Mays and Rita Jean Hairston all of VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Gary at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell. Visitation at 11:00 a.m.
