Beckley, West Virginia - Joelen Purser Williams passed away on February 10,2026 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley,West Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Briella Peters (Ray) of Safety Harbor,Florida and their children, Adelyn,Noah,Ronnie,Dylan,Lily and Johnathon. Joelen is also survived by her mother, Libby Coiner Purser Chelborg of Midlothian,Virginia, her two brothers, Bryn Purser(Margaret) and niece, Mary Purser of Midlothian,Virginia, and J.Patrick Purser of Midlothian,Virginia. Two step-sisters , Tiffany Reeve(Bronson) of Midlithian,Virginia and Stacey Bohm of Charlotte,North Carolina. Three aunts, Carol Purser of Athens,West Virginia and cousin, Jayma Purser of Athens,West Virginia, Anne Coiner Harrison(Jim) of Roanoke,Virginia and Becky Coiner Miller(Kevin) of Midlothian,Virginia.

Joelen lived in Athens,West Virginia as a child and was a member of Athens United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Joel Leon Purser of Athens,West Virginia, her daughter, Autumn Williams of Princeton,West Virginia, grandson Thaddeus Peters of Safety Harbor,Florida her grandmother, Ethel Virginia Purser of Athens,West Virginia, her grandparents Jennie and Harry Coiner of Roanoke,Virginia and Largo,Florida.

Services to be held at Woodlake United Methodist Church in Midlothian,Virginia at a date and time to be determined.
