NORTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. — Joan Marie Lyons, age 67, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born September 1, 1949 at Ft. Belvoir, VA she was the daughter of Frances Jeanette (Conner) Casey of Princeton, WV and the late Raymond Thomas Casey. Mrs. Lyons had worked as a self employed plumber and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church at North Chesterfield, VA.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Thomas and Michael Charles Casey.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ellis of Midlothian, VA; one son, Matthew David Ellis of North Chesterfield, VA; companion, Oliver Dillion of Ballard, WV; four sisters, Patricia Ann Basham and husband William Ray of Chattanooga, TN, Mary Margaret Walkup of Buckeye, WV, Frances Knowles and husband Thomas of Van Nuys, CA, and Maureen Casey of Chimaltenango, Guatemala; four grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church on Beulah Road, North Chesterfield, VA. Burial will follow in Dale Memorial Park, North Chesterfield, VA.
