Princeton - Jerry Ray Siner of Princeton, WV, transitioned to his final resting place on June 8, 2026. Born May 30th, 1944, in Matoaka, WV, he was the son of the late Pete and Stella Siner, whom he adored.

Jerry attended and graduated from Matoaka High School, having perfect attendance from kindergarten until graduation, he said "I was always afraid I would miss something".

His first job was as a bag boy for the A&P grocery store. He worked there tirelessly so that he could afford his first car, a 1950 Ford Victoria.

During high school, Jerry met the love of his life, Kay Steele. They were married on June 19th, 1964. Together they created a life that led them down many successful paths. Moving to Hyattsville, MD, where Jerry started his career as a dispatcher for Safeway Trucking Co., they would later return to WV (Jerry's beloved home), where Jerry worked many jobs that helped fuel his true calling as an entrepreneur. Jerry was licensed as an underground and surface miner. He was the manager of Point Express Trucking Co. Continuing his growth passion, Jerry attended Ohio State where he was certified in pharmaceutical sales with Ross Labs. In his first year as a salesman, Jerry was salesman of the year competing against over 500 other salespeople.

During this period of his life, Jerry pursued his love for building business. He first developed Cliffview mobile home park, he would go on to develop Royal Oaks subdivision, Jera-K Estates 1, Jera-K Estates 2, Madison Heights, Emerald Valley, and many other properties. He loved land and had the gift to see its value and develop it. Jerry also created two other businesses, Tickle the Ivory's, where he tuned pianos, and The Ditch Witch, where he operated heavy equipment. Jerry retired several times, only to be called back into leadership positions, because he was a true leader! His last place of employment was the Green Valley Water Co as manager.

Jerry's favorite hobbies were making money, collecting antique cars, and playing the piano. Many would argue that his greatest gift was his musical ear, by far it was charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." Jerry had a soft spot for those less fortunate than him and cheerfully gave to many families and children in need.

Jerry was of Christian faith. He was proceeded in death by his two sisters Pauline Pierce and Linda Ayers, one daughter who was his biggest fan and whom he adored, Kelly Rae Siner.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 61 years (11 days short of 62) who never left his side, Kay Siner; two daughters, Jodi Conner, and Casey (Eric) Collier; four grandchildren (to whom he was known as Poppy), Channing (Eden) Conner, Graesen Conner, London Collier, and Holston Collier; two great grandchildren, Meadow and Willow Conner, and a host of treasured loved ones.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 11, 2026, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton, WV. A funeral service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday June 12, 2026, at Seaver Funeral Home with Pastor Erma Jean Hudgins officiating. Private entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
