TAZEWELL, Va. — Jerry Thomas Adams, age 51 of Tazewell, VA died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 near Gary, WV. He was born August 24, 1964 at Richlands, VA. Jerry was a US Army veteran serving in Germany and a graduate of ETSU. He loved working with computers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ted and Bertha Eastridge. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Frances M. and Michael T. “Mike” Brooks of North Tazewell, VA; sons, Anthony Adams and wife, Misa and Devon Adams all of Woodbridge, VA, Zachery Adams of Maryland, and Frank Adams of Michigan; brothers, Michael Adams and wife, Pam of Roanoke, VA, Robert Adams and fiancée, Toni of Thorp, WV, and Eric Brooks and wife, Billie of Tazewell, VA; niece, Katelyn Brooks; nephew, Ethan Brooks; aunt, Mary Miller and special aunt, Lou Ella Fletcher; uncle, Lee Eastridge. The family will receive friends after 12:30 PM Monday, February 1, 2016 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM with Pastor Steve Branch officiating.
