Jason Kenneth Laws, 47, of Princeton, WV raised in Lindside, WV passed away Tuesday June 2, 2021 after a hard courageous battle with cancer at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with his loving family by his side.

Born February 9, 1974 in Banner Elk, NC he was a son of Erma Laws of Lindside and the late Chester Laws.

Jake, as his family and friends knew him, loved horses, fishing and cooking for his friends at get togethers; he always made people smile through his true love for his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Jake is survived by his wife and soulmate of 22 years Cindy Wriston Laws of the home. One son, Corey (Kayla) Laws of Princeton, WV; four brothers Gary (Cindy) Laws, Tommy (Barbara) Laws, Randy Laws, Billy (Cindy) Laws, all of Lindside; two sisters Sandy (Jim) Skeens of Bozoo, WV and Sue (Steve) Johnson of Lindside. Many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday June 6, 2021 at Seneca Trail Church of Christ at 8860 Seneca Trail S. in Lindside with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Jake will be laid to rest at Laws Family Cemetery in Lindside by pallbearers Steven Howdock, Greg Parsell, Gary Laws, Tommy Laws, Randy Laws, Billy Laws, Matthew Vass and Jason Johnson.

Family will receive friends on Saturday June 5, 2021 at Wickline Funeral Home from 6PM till 8PM.
