James Daniel Kennedy, otherwise known as J.D. or simply "Jay", entered Paradise on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Paynesville, WV.

He was the last of Dan and Sarah Kennedy's children.

He was a machinist and piano tuner by trade, but the thing of which he was the most proud was the fact that he was a Christian. He loved talking about the Lord and His Holy Word, the Bible.

He was known for his sense of humor and delighted many with it and his out going personality. He would always attend Church whenever he was able, sometimes filling in for pastors when they were away. He also worked ons everal church buildings in his lifetime.

He was a veteran of the Korean war and was proud to have served his country. He will be missed by many family and friends, who look forward to meeting him in Heaven one day.

Funeral services will be conducted for J.D. Kennedy, Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11 o'clock with Reverend Roger Pete Woods and Reverend Chester Ball officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery on Rockridge near Paynesville

J.D.'s friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Thursday evening, June 27, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the Kennedy family.
