Bluewell - Imogene Bowman, 87, of Bluewell, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Princeton Healthcare Center.

Born July 11, 1938, in Dott, WV, she was the daughter of Luell Meadows and Macie Shrewsbury Cundiff.

Imogene was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful person who took joy in caring for others. She took pride in her home and in raising her four children. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bowman; siblings, Kenneth Meadows, Raymond Meadows, Virgil Meadows, Curmet Meadows, and Beulah Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Diana Herr and husband Doug of Ruckersville, VA, Steven Bowman of Blacksburg, VA, Deborah Herr and husband Jeff of Charlottesville, VA, and Melissa Feyerabend and husband Chad of Kingston Springs, TN; brother, James McKinney of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren, Heather, Emmanuel, Bethaney, and Seth; great-grandchildren, Connor, Hailey, Amber, and Aidan; and great-great-granddaughter, Alena.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Doyle Bradford, officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home.
