With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious angel, Hazel Anne Butler, who was born to us on February 28, 2025 and went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 4, 2025.

Hazel passed in the loving embrace of her mother and father, Garett and Alexis Butler and was surrounded by all who loved her.

Although Hazel blessed us on Earth for only a short time, the impact of her life will last forever. With such bravery, she fought a rare condition with determination and zest. It is with this courage that all should be reminded each day is a blessing and a gift from God. It is our belief that her story will be a testimony of God's grace and unwavering faithfulness; even when the storm is unrelenting. The four days Hazel spent on this Earth will forever be the best of all of ours, and we will always find comfort in knowing she is with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ruby Memorial Children's Hospital Labor and Delivery floor, as well as the Maternal Fetal Medicine staff for their continuous support and guidance throughout this journey.

Hazel will be forever remembered by her adoring parents, Garett and Alexis Butler, as well as all of her family.

A private memorial service was held at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton, West Virginia.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Hazel's honor to Liberty Baptist Church, 260 Windy Hill Drive, Princeton, WV 24740.
