Bluefield - Glenn Anthony Woolwine, 60, of Bluefield, WV, died Thursday, February 19, 2026 peacefully at home. Born October 30, 1965 in Christiansburg, VA he was the son of Jay Woolwine and the late Vickie Morris.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Bluefield, WV. He loved golfing, attending Virginia Tech Football games, cheering for North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils, but most of all helping with Bluefield High School Beaver Football. He was an avid lover of sports. He was working for Coca-Cola at the time of his passing and had worked with the company for over 10 years. He will be most remembered and missed for his sense of humor and love of family - especially his wife, children and fur babies.
Survivors include his loving wife, Melissa Woolwine of Bluefield, WV; two sons, Noah W. Bailey (Breanna) of Fort Campbell, KY, Christian B. Bailey of the home, two fur babies, Cocoa and Hershey Woolwine; father, Jay Woolwine (Peggy) of Christiansburg, VA, father-in-law, Gary Musser of Bluefield, WV, mother-in-law, Barbara Rose (Bob) of Bluefield, WV; brother, Chris Morris (Stephanie) of Christiansburg, VA, sister-in-law, Mary Anne Collins (Bucky) of Bluefield, WV; two nieces, Kaylee and Ashlynn Morris of Christiansburg, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 28, 2026 with Douglas W. McDaniel, Jr., Pastor of First Christian Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
