North Tazewell, VA - Ginger Lois Deskins, age 83, of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at her home.
Born October 3, 1941, in O'Toole, WV, she was a daughter of the late Earl Edward Scarberry and Bertha Pauley Scarberry.
Ginger was a 1961 graduate of Bluefield High School located in Bluefield, WV. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in North Tazewell, VA. Ginger was a cheerful, caring person who enjoyed her life as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy David Deskins; son, Stephen David Deskins; daughter, Deidre "DeeDee" Holbrook; son-in-law, Martin Holbrook; brother-in-law, Otis Glen "O.G" Hawks.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Shirley M. Hawks of Bluefield, VA; nephew, Glen Hawks III; David Holbrook and wife Mary. Various friends and family also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Pastor Jamie Pennington officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the hour of service.
