Frank Gonzalez Jr. "Paco", 75, of Roderfield, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 7, 2020.

Frank was born on June 15, 1945 in Welch a son of the late Frank Gonzalez Sr. and the late Antonia Renka White. He was a retired coal miner and a proud member of the UMWA.

Frank was a proud veteran of the Navy Seabees. He was also a member of the Christ Cathedral Church in Iaeger. He loved his garden and ginsenging.

In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years and the mother of his children, Dorothy Davis Gonzalez and a son Marcus.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Joyce Gonzalez of the home; daughter, Maria Whited and husband Nick of Bluefield, WV; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Shirley Lockhart and husband Mark of Wytheville, VA; grandson, Zac Gonzalez and fianceé, Abby Hurst of Wytheville, VA; stepdaughter, Belinda Mullins and husband Michael of Pineville, WV; step daughter, Cindy Bailey of Panther, WV; sister, Ramona Gonzalez of Bluefield, WV; special mother-in-law, Freda "Maw" Matney; and special brother-in-law, Gary Davis and wife Debbie of Roderfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and church family.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 13, 2020 at 1 o'clock with Reverend Russell King and Elder Roger Walker officiating at the Christ Cathedral Church in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery at Roderfield, WV. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Post #1144. Family and friend will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Zac Gonzalez.

Friends may visit with the family Sunday, July 12, 2020 after 6 p.m. at the Christ Cathedral Church.

Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
