I met Evelyn when I was hired to work the reception desk and switchboard at the Mercer County Department of Health and Human Resources in 1993. The person I got to work with and be trained by was Evelyn. Evelyn was such a sweet lady and always had a smile and her laugh was like music. She was never in a bad mood and loved her job. I have never forgotten Evelyn and it was a sad day when Evelyn decided to retire. Now she is rejoicing at her reunion with our heavenly Father. My sympathies to her family. She always talked lovingly about her family.

Mrs. Hearn was the sweetest lady. I didn’t know her well but when I would see her I would always say hi to her and she would smile so sweetly. Rest easy Mrs. Hearn you’ve won your crown and won the race!
