Vivian - Eva Ruth Hendricks, 95, of Vivian, WV, passed away March 11, 2026, at Princeton Community

Hospital. Born on October 21, 1930, at Landgraff, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Dora Bryant Brown.

She was proceeded in death by her husband; James L. Hendricks, one grandson; Jeremy Hendricks, one great grandson; Jarred Brooks, seven sisters; Betty Jane Brown, Cleo Brown, Jessie Lee George, Alma Fleming, Vivian Crofoot, Barbara Miles, Gloria Monarchy; and two

brothers; Dale Brown and Claudine Brown.

She is survived by one sister, Donna Furches, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, one daughter; Rebecca (David) Cardwell of Princeton, WV, and two sons; James L. Hendricks, Jr. of Vivian, WV and

Charles Dana (Gerri) Hendricks of Scranton, SC.

She is also survived by her grandchildren she loved so dearly, Christopher Cardwell, April Brooks, Amanda Curry, Heather Myers, Joshua Hendricks, Rachael Torres, Nathan and Noah

Hendricks and a host of great grandchildren who were precious to her; Jonathan, Ryan and Seth Cardwell; Aaron and Brady Brooks; Andrew, Jacob and Emma Curry; Ezzie Hendricks and

Madelyn; Sara Hendricks; Ben and Baylee Torres, Sam, Auggie Josie Hendricks and Ryleigh.

Eva loved listening to classical music, writing poetry, ballet performances and viewing classical movies.

At her request, there will be no services. Burial was held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Eva's family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Glenwood Nursing home facility, who patiently and compassionately cared for our loved one; also, we thank the staff at Princeton Community Hospital for the care and compassion they extended towards
