LAKE CITY, FL - Eloise Bowling, 98, of Lake City, FL, formerly of Kegley, died Monday, July 8, 2024 at her home. Born October 10, 1925 in Freeman, WV, she was the daughter of the late Bob Honaker and Mae Belcher Honaker.

Mrs. Bowling was raised in Lake Shawnee, attended Kegley Elementary School and graduated from Spanishburg High School. She worked several parttime jobs and was a member of Kegley Baptist Church for most of her life. She was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John Eldridge Bowling; and by all of her siblings.

Survivors include two sons, Gayle Bowling and wife Christine and Morris Bowling all of Fort White, FL; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Rick Setser officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
