Lashmeet, West Virginia - Ellen Elliott, 90, of Lashmeet, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Born January 27, 1935, in Thomas, WV, she was the daughter of the late Richard Nesbit and the late Mary Edith Nesbit Shrader.

Ellen was a charter member of the Lashmeet Church of God and was still a beloved and faithful member. She was an employee of Bluefield Regional Medical Center for more than 20 years. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a shining light to so many and would boldly share her faith at every opportunity.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 58 years, Emory Dale Elliott; sisters, Alice Cook, Ethel Burton, Virginia Hartwell, Pearl Hedrick, Bessie Miller, Pauline Cox, and Evelyn Poff; and brother, Charlie Nesbit


Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Vicki Williams and husband Sam of Princeton; son, Dale Elliott and wife Karen of Ponte Vedra, Fl; grandchildren, Jonathan Bivens of Shawnee, KS, Christopher Bivens and wife Rebecca of Princeton, Lauren Dwyer and husband Ian of Ponte Vedra, FL, Hayley Elliott of Broomfield, CO; great-grand-daughters, Addison, Elliott, Elaina, Shea, and Cody; a host of nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Bailey Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the service hour.
