Anaheim, CA - Dr. Edward Yong Kwon Chun was born in the Republic of Korea.. He graduated from medical school in Pusan, South Korea, then immigrated to the United States in 1971. He lived in Bluefield, Virginia from 1981 until his retirement. He retired to Gang Neung, South Korea, where he lived until 2022 when he suffered a stroke. He then lived in Anaheim, CA until his passing. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and ping pong. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julie Joon Hee Chun. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Erica Chun; son, John Chun; daughter-in-law, Elaine Chun; and grandchildren, Colin and Addison. Private burial will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA. Donations may be made to American Stroke Foundation.
