Uncle Dennis will always have a piece of my heart. Even though we had not talked so much recently, I always thought of him as more of a big brother. Among my fondest memories are music at his house on Friday nights, motorcycle rides, and biscuit and gravy breakfasts with my mom. I will surely miss him. We are all very sorry for your loss.

Dennis was a neighbor and a best friend to my brother Tracy Stout. At about 18 years of age they tried to join the military together in the buddy system. Tracy was rejected because of his knees (football injury) but, Dennis was called to serve. This changed their lives forever and both went in different directions but not their friendship. To me he was a brother and I was his pestering little sister. We argued, we fought (he was stubborn!) but we hugged! He always had a little laugh and grin. My Mother (Kathleen Stout) treated him as her own, many times she found him sleeping in our basement where the doors were never locked and she always had a place at the table or something good to eat... for all Tracy’s friends. Mom passed away in 1997 and Tracy In 2009. I pray they are together again enjoying God’s blessed reunion.
Peace, I pray for his family.
