David Warren Miller passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Thursday October 5, 2023.

He was born in Abbs Valley, VA on December 24, 1952 to Warren and Myrtle Miller. He was the youngest of 4 children, brother, Joseph Miller, deceased, sister Dixie Hunt and sister Carolyn Ratcliffe who was his caregiver during his illness. He also has several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Pocahontas High School class of 1971 and attended Southwest Virginia Community College.

David worked a short time in the mining field, but he was a gifted carpenter by trade. He worked for many in the area and had many, many friends. Although he came into this world a tiny 2 lbs and 15 ounces he became a master in his craft. We were blessed that the Lord let us have him for almost 71 years.

Service will be held at Rodriguez Funeral home in Pocahontas, VA at 1:00PM on Tuesday October 10 with the Rev Jerry Manning officiating. Visitation is 1 hour prior at 12 noon. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

The family would like to thank all those that have visited, sent prayers and helped in any way during his sickness.
