On Monday January 24, 2022, God called his angels to deliver Daniel Aaron Groseclose to the gates of heaven. Heaven received our son, brother, uncle and friend with loving arms.

Aaron was born October 7, 1977 at BRMC, Bluefield, WV and resided in Pocahontas, VA. He was the loving son of Danny and Kathy Asbury Groseclose of Pocahontas, VA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harvey and Eva Asbury, Abbs Valley, VA and his paternal grandparents Paul and Geraldine Groseclose of Boissevain, VA and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to his parents, he also has a sister Alisha Groseclose "Sissi" of Boissevain, VA whom he loved so much. He was the perfect uncle to Isac James Ross (Kaitlyn Honaker), Brushfork, WV. Hallie Erin Ross who was his namesake of Princeton, WV and his buddy Landon Anthony Graham whom was like his son and resided with him.

Other close family left to mourn, aunts and uncles, Teresa Asbury Mckensie, Radford, VA, Barry Asbury (Pam) of Abbs Valley, VA, Michael Groseclose of Boissevain, VA, Russell (Laura) Groseclose of Pulaski, VA and Tammy Groseclose of Pocahontas, VA. His first cousins, Jerry (Katie) Sayers, Joseph Sayers, Terrance "Poopsey" Sayers, Jeff Groseclose (Angela), Jodi Scarberry (Chad), Jennifer Lawson (Andy), Jacklyn (Matt) Stanley, Stephanie Quesenberry, Monica Asbury (Chad), Marissa Groseclose, Austin Groseclose, Heather Woodall, Hannah Groseclose.

Aaron graduated from Pocahontas High School, Bluefield, VA with honors and from Bluefield University, Bluefield, VA. Education was very important to him. Aaron was employed by PBE Group in Tazewell, VA as Group IT Manager. They are truly a work family mourning.

Aaron was best friends to so many and all. The list is so big that they argue of who is the number one. Aaron was always ready to open his heart, home and wallet to anyone who needed him, he never rarely, if ever, refused a call for his help, good or bad. His door was always open and it was filled. He unselfishly gave his heart and life to his parents and to his niece and nephews, Hells Bells, Hjesus, and Toad. He had his names for all. When asked to give he always gave of himself. Aaron gave his life to God at the age of 9 and again in recent months. God was his rock and he said God understood him.

Aaron's love of sports was the time of his life. His high school days of playing football were the highlight of his life. His love of Virginia Tech and watching and going to games, fantasy football were his favorites. His sense of humor was sometimes over the top and he loved to laugh.

Celebration of love and life will be Tuesday at Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, VA. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm until 2:00 pm and his service will begin at 2:00 pm. Entombment service will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA immediately after the service.

Pastors Greg Bowman and Rev. Reginald Blakewood will serve as speakers. Time will be given to anyone wanting to voice any special thoughts or memories.
