Corbie David Hounshell, Sr., went home to be with Jesus, December 24, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Stuart and Lona French Hounshell. A Brother, William Allen Hounshell. A sister, Willie Cook.
Mr. Hounshell was very active in the community as a member of the Rocky Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church, a member of the Rocky Gap Ruritan Club and also very active with youth league sports.
He is survived by his Daughter: Carol and Greg Eversole, Rocky Gap. A Son: Corbie David, Jr. and Rhonda Hounshell, Rocky Gap. Five Grandchildren: Grant, Hannah and Evan Hounshell and Kyle and Taylor Eversole. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bland Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at 12 noon Wednesday December 30, 2020 at the French Slaughter Cemetery, Rocky Gap.
Due to Covid restrictions everyone is asked to wear a mask and to maintain social distancing of at least 6 ft apart.
