PETERSTOWN, WV - Constance M. "Connie" Phipps, age 76, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, VA. Born February 6, 1947, in Squire, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Cecil and Ruby Virginia Shrader. Connie worked in the office at Commonwealth Bolt in Rich Creek, VA. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all those that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Scotty Phipps; and one brother, Chuck Conley. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Brian Phipps and wife Christy of Summersville, WV, and Sean Phipps and wife Roseann of Peterstown, WV; three grandchildren, Caden, Sydney, and Bryson Phipps; four sisters, Sandy, Terry, Tammy, and Rita; and several nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastors Terry Utterback and Dana Gatewood officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
