On Friday, January 28, 2022 God called our beautiful daughter, sister, Mommy and friend, into his loving arms.

Chelsey was born February 8, 1986 in Bluefield, WV and resided in Pocahontas, VA. She was the beloved daughter of Ted and Jane Green of Pocahontas, VA. She was preceded in death by her father, Ted L. Green, her maternal grandmother, Lois (Guyman) Myles and paternal grandparents Fred and Rose Marie Green.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her beautiful daughter Taygen Marie Green who was her world! Her sister Amy Lane (Michael) of Bluefield, VA; her brother Jared Green (Dawn) of Huntersville, NC. Her niece and nephew, Jade Dixon and Colin Dixon whom she absolutely adored! We were a very close family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chelsey was raised surrounded by an extreme "bunch of love!" Chelsey and her cousins were raised more like brothers and sisters instead of cousins, especially her two closest co-horts growing up Ashley (Asbury) Stevenson and Chad Asbury. Her dearest, dearest friends Jennifer (Brewster) Smith, Monica (Groseclose) Asbury, and Amber (Casey) Collins.

Chelsey graduated from Pocahontas High School in 2004, and from Tazewell County Vocational the same year from their Cosmetology program. Chelsey was an "exceptional" hairdresser. So many told me that no one could cut, style, braid or color hair as good as our Chelsey! She inherited that talent from her MaMaw, Lois Myles.

A private family service will be held at West End Cemetery in Wytheville, VA. Chelsey will be laid to rest beside her MaMaw Lois.
