Cassandra Faye Saunders Foye ("Candy") Obituary
Mrs. Cassandra Faye "Candy" Saunders Foye, age 56, of Thorpe, WV, who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at CAMC, after a long battle with illness.
She was a graduate of both Northfork High School and Bluefield State College, where she received her degree in Criminal Justice. Also, she had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Candy was a long time member of Uprising Chapel United Holiness Church in Rolfe, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, who raised her.
Candy will be greatly missed by her husband, Dan S. Foye and daughter, Shantia D. Foye; siblings: Jerry (Susan) Saunders, Dacia "Dee-Dee" Marshall, Wuaren (Dawn) and Winston Tyree Jr., and Vickie Gordon; brother-in-law, Eric (Shanita) White and sister-in-law, Claudine (Michael) Ford and a host of close relatives.
A Homegoing Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Uprising Chapel United Holiness Church, with Pastor Donna Jackson, officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluewell. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., until time of Service.
