ROANOKE, Va. - Carl Eugene Sparks II, 45 of Roanoke, better known as Chip by all his friends and family was born May 22, 1971, from Roanoke, VA passed away on Friday afternoon at Lewis Gale Hospital from heart-related issues.
Chip worked at New Millenium Steel for over 20 years and was loved by many.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Laura Sparks, his brother Patrick Sparks and his daughters, his pride and joy, Alycea and Marissa, as well as the special men in their lives who he thought of as sons, Anthony Stout and Ian Branin; his stepmother Joyce Sparks, his in-laws David and Cathy Agee, his brother-in-law Adam Agee, and all the fur babies he loved so much.
Chip was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Tolar Sparks and his father, Carl Eugene Sparks I.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Oakey's Funeral Home, 4257 Brambleton Ave., Roanoke, VA 24018, 4 - 7 pm. An informal prayer service will be held at 7 pm, following visitation.
