Bryan Walter "Walt" Billips, age 44 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee.

Born September 19, 1973 at Bluefield, West Virginia, he was the son of Walter Jackson Billips of North Tazewell, Virginia and the late Elsie Irene Wynn

Billips.

He was a lawyer in Grundy, Virginia. He graduated from the Appalachian School of Law in 2004, graduated from Radford University in 2001, and completed a master's degree from University of North Carolina in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2010. Bryan was Second Degree Black Belt in Chikubu-Kai -Karate Do. He was Brown Belt Iaido.

In addition to his mother Elsie Billips, he was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents, Augustus and Mary Belle Billips; Maternal Grandparents, Roy Wynn and Irene Wynn; and Father in law, Stephen Elgin.

Survivors include in addition to his father Walter Billips: His Wife Sarah Billips of Grundy, Virginia; His Two Best Friends Brad Alicie and Joey Gates; Mother-In-Law

A graveside service for Bryan Billips will be held on Saturday (today), April 21, 2018, 2:30 PM at the Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia with Curtis Crouse officiating.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Buchanan County Bar Association.
