Bobby Eugene Thompson, 67, of Anawalt, WV passed away January 25, 2022 at his home. Born in Richlands, VA he was the son of the late Luther Edward and Ruby Dotson Thompson.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife: Carol Thompson, son: Bobby Thompson, Jr., step-daughter: Donna Glennda, brothers: Jimmy, Winford, Otis, Paul, Michael, Melvin, Everett and Larry Thompson; sisters: Brenda Bird, Rossella Thompson and Goldie Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Thompson of the home, Robert Thompson and wife Lora of Brenton, WV, one stepson Alec Payne and wife Olivia of Garland, WV, one daughter Rebekah Cline and husband Larry of Hanover, WV; special nieces Pamela StClair and Ruby Bolen and 11 grandchildren. Brothers and sisters Alice and Ross Gullett of Bluefield, WV, Shirley Mullens of Richlands, VA, Richard and wife Lynn of Rocky Mount, VA and Carl Thompson of WV.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the House of Prayer in Bramwell, WV with Pastor Joey Rowe and wife Teresa officiating. Friends may call Wednesday February 2, 2022 starting at 5:00 pm at the House of Prayer in Bramwell, WV. Bobby will be cremated according to his wishes.
